• Week 17 (Writing - final task)

    • Hellooo!!!

This week we are finishing with the writing section. I actually want you to focus on practicing writing both essays in the alloted time as if it were the actual exam day.
Remember you 60 minutes in total. It is highly recommended that you spend 20 minutes on task 1 and 40 on task 2. Remember to plan and organize your ideas first, then write and check what you wrote to make sure you eliminate as many mistakes as possible.
Try to first take a look at the photocopies we have been working with and then start writing. My aim with this is that you can refresh the mind regarding the most relevant and useful vocabulary we have been revising as well as the most common mistakes so that then you can start writing with a more solid ground. While writing, try not to use any linguistic tools (like dictionaries, translators and AI), so as to make the mock more realistic and so that you can get an idea of your weakest areas (i.e. what you struggle with the most).
If it is too challenging for you, I am going to leave another mock exam here. What you can try, perhaps, is to complete one exam with the help of external tools, and then the other one without help.

Let me know if you have any questions!
