    • Hello, girls!

This week you have/had the IELTS mock test!!

For those who were absent or want to take a second look at it, I have left the PDF with the Listening, Reading and Writing sections below, as well as the keys.

I have also left a page with each of your names for you to complete the Speaking section. The idea is that you go to your page and then start your recording right away as you start answering the questions one by one (i.e. without taking a previous look at them). Make one recording per section and remember that for section 2 you have a minute to plan your answer. I have also clarified the time alloted for each part of the speaking test, so when you have reached the limit you can stop answering (independently of how many unanswered questions you have left).

I left two TASK boxes for you. One is for you to upload your speaking test voice notes (you can also send them through WhatsApp). The other one is for those of you who couldn't make it last class and want to upload your answers for me to check.

I will leave a list down below of the approximate time alloted for each section so that you can work independently.

      • Listening: 20 minutes per task (60 minutes in total).
      • Reading: 20 minutes per task (60 minutes in total)
      • Writing: 20 minutes for Task 1, 40 minutes for Task 2 (60 minutes in total).
      • Speaking: 4-5 minutes for section 1; 1-2 minutes for section 2 (+ 1 minute for preparing your answer); 4-5 minutes for section 3 (15 minutes tops in total).

Well, that's it! Happy winter break!!!!

      Hii!

This week we had an in-class mock test! Therefore, here I uploaded the PDF file in case you want to do it again AAAND another mock test (minus the speaking section) for you to complete whenever you want.

I will also leave the key for the on-line mock test for you to self check and then you can bring the writing to class next week.

See you next week, take care!

      Hello, people!

This week we practiced some speaking Task 1 and then we completed the Writing section of our mock test.

I have left the file we used to practice speaking in the SPEAKING section so that you can practice on your own whenever you want!

I have also uploaded another mock test for you to keep on practising, along with the audio files and the key.

I have left extra practice in all sections (READING, LISTENING, WRITING, SPEAKING) so that you can use these two weeks to do some focused practice on that area you feel is the weakest for you.

Contact me if you have any questions! See you in 2 weeks :)

      Hi, people!

These two Fridays we had our last test of the year! I uploaded it for you to complete it whenever you want. On the 14th we did the Writing and Reading sections, and on the 28th the Listening and Speaking ones. The file I uploaded includes the 4 sections, the keys for the listening and reading parts and two sample writing productions for you to compare with your own.

We have reached the end of the course! Thank you so much for joining in and putting so much effort throughout the year. I hope you could enjoy these classes as much as I've enjoyed them. I want you to know that I saw a great improvement in all of you and that is in great part thanks to how much love and dedication you've put into this.

If you happen to have any questions, you have my number so you can contact me whenever you need to, I truly mean it. I hope we can see each other again in the future and I wish all of you the best of luck in your exams and future steps in life.

      See you around!

      Prof. Gomez Coll
